The tract is enrolled in the WRE program with a perpetual conservation easement except for two acres that were left out for a camp site, and twelve loads of gravel were hauled in to keep it nice and dry. There's a brand new 4-inch water well with a 6-inch discharge and a 7 HP motor that pumps 400 gallons per minute. It only took two days of pumping with poly-pipe to flood the entire duck hole in the fall, and the cost in electricity was just $54. There's a gate with boards on the northeast end of the property to control the water for flooding and draining the duck hole.
